It's easy to get up on Mondays when you know you've got a four day teaching week and vacation is at the end of it.

Not for me, mind, but I don't have classes for three weeks. That's cheerful enough. 

I had the evening to myself so I did some Pilates (much overdue) and then went to my cafe to do some Korean study. The lady there is so lovely. She gave me free nectarine to start with and then asked me if I wanted a Dutch coffee. I told her I can't sleep if I drink coffee so when she brought back a suspiciously dark beverage I was sad that I'd failed to communicate properly. One sip and I was happy again. It was iced tea! 

I want to be friends with her so bad!
