Today I received the most amazing surprise. A new lens! And the hipster 50mm one at that! I've been wanting it and it miraculously appeared on my desk this chilly Wednesday.

It came with no note but I knew only Von would be up to something like that. It was ridiculously generous and thoughtful. Yup. I was right!

She's awesome. Now I need to get playing and try to learn how to use it!
