Randomly bumping into people on the subway isn't always a delight, especially when my nose is in a good book, but today I welcomed it.

I was on my way to church, engrossed in the plights of North Korean defectors when someone took the free seat next to me and gave me a nudge. 

It was Chris, Fiona's boyfriend whom I met only yesterday! Isn't circumstance a strange thing. 

We talked about art and crafts. It was great! And it made the journey feel so much shorter. 

Before I knew it we were at Banwoldang. What a pleasant surprise indeed!
