More jubilation this evening as I went to church. I'm feeling uncharacteristically brave so I made my way there alone. I ran into a friendly student in the elevator and we sat together.
I really feel welcome here. I was too shy to say hello so he did and it was just nice not to have that awkward silence at church. I guess even though I'm new I can do the opening lines and stop contributing to what I'm complaining about!
But seriously, everyone has smiled and shook my hand and made me feel so happy to be part of this new family, even if I don't really know anyone yet.
