Today I met a teacher who had visited NZ. She was so enthusiastic about talking about her month at Royal Oak Primary. She told me Kiwis say "lovely" a lot, which is the truth.
When I saw her again in the lift at the end of the day she perked up in a loud voice and announced to the others, "This is lovely Katie from New Zealand!"
If I get that treatment whenever I see her, she'll be my favourite soon enough.
