15.08.14

Oh boy did we walk today! We started with a dance party in my room (of course) and then headed out to Buamdong, a cute little district in the mountains, north of Seoul. We found a cute cafe with an amazing outlook for our first beverage and then headed on a tour of little streets here and there, walking wherever we pleased.

We stumbled upon a few art galleries and cute little shops before making our way back to the big city where we encountered hundred of people milling about in preparation to see the Pope. Poor Mum must have been so overwhelmed because it was worse than Christmas in the Park! We weaved our way through and made it to the stream where we sat with our feet in the water for a long time. It was wonderfully relaxing to watch the kids jump around, fall in, and splash each other as our feet cooled in the stream.

We walked some more along Insadong road which is always great. Crowds of people, but lots to see. Mum bought some things and we had amazing dinner before heading home and crashing.
