The lift ride up to the 40th floor was absolutely terrifying. It was glass like Charlie's at the chocolate factory and it almost went as fast too. Being on solid ground was a relief for sure!
But it's amazing to think of all the little people doing all their little life things below us. So many little ants traveling in slow motion. It really gives you a lot of perspective when you step back from life.
Then in the evening we split up and Lucy and I sat in a bar and had a good chin wag over some whisky. I love that there's still so much to learn about her. I wish she was going to be in Ireland next year!
