04.10.14

I finally made it to the MMCA art museum this morning with Alex. Far out I love contemporary art and all it's weird pretensiousness.

There was an exhibition all about how we interact with maths every day even if we don't realise it. It's in the way things bounce, or drop, or even in their very makeup. And the equations and geometry are art. It went kinda over our heads but it was cool.

My favourite was a giant room with broken mirrors on the ground like platforms of ice and a jagged path through them to some lights at the opposite corner.

It was very pretty. Probably very deep, too.

I like art and I like Alex so it was very successful, I'd say.
