16.12.14

Small but significant gestures of love are so important when you're in a foreign land away from friends and family. It's a good thing I work with children because they're so open about their love.

One moment happened this morning when my co-teacher announced it would be my last class of the year with these students. One girl rushed up to me and took my hand. She swung it and looked up at me in a way that filled my heart. She wasn't even one of the outspoken ones either.

It completely caught me off guard.

These kids teach me about openness and the purity of joy and love daily.

Post-lunch Koreanness.
