HAPPY PEPERO DAY!
Today is the first of many couple days over the next few months. On this particular one, the Pepero company has cashed in on the fact their chocolate coated cookie sticks look like the number one by marketing that if you love your girlfriend then you absolutely must buy her a whole load of Pepero on 11.11. Very cunning.
Also, in class today, one of my gorgeous fourth graders was getting very agitated by the tune and speed of the song in class. After showing the video and having her class try sing along, which wasn't working out very well, she pulls her hands off her ears and shouts, "THIS IS A USELESS MATTER!"
It really cracked me up. She's always bursting out with the most obscure English phrases.
