I didn't even mind the cold or my bloody mouth as I stepped outside the dentist to see a beautiful sunset.
It was poking through the barren trees, reflecting off the mirrored skyscrapers, casting shapes of gold along the footpath. I've been a bit spoiled for sunsets in my life, but it's a totally different scene in a city. The sun has to fight for a place in the sky, amongst buildings and satellite dishes. But even if you can't see the orb itself, you can't deny its presence.
Did that just become spiritual?
