Jess and I went to see The Hobbit today. I was really looking forward to it. Not so much for the actual movie, but for the reminder of the beauty of New Zealand.

It did not disappoint.

I was so proud to be from the same country of green pastures and looming mountains as the shots on screen. It made me happy on the inside.

The film itself wasn't as good as the first one, in my opinion. But the scenery was worth the ticket.

Snow fell overnight and stuck around this morning! It was so beautiful.
