(And to Lucy, happy birthday!)
What a wonderful day! The skies were blue, the sun was out, and I woke up amongst friends, ate a delicious breakfast, listened to my annual Christmas sermon, opened some beautiful gifts, and borrowed a dress for church.
I'm so thankful that Christmas is about more than all these things though. Who knew a little baby could deliver such a message of hope and joy for ALL people.
Amen.
