I turned to see a very shy little third grader running towards me, arms wide with a huge smile.
I was a bit confused because she normally won't even make eye contact with me. It took me a moment to realise I should give her a hug so I picked her up and swung her around. She was delighted.
Once again, a child has completely made my day.
