I encountered one today that said hello to me and then goodbye as I left the bus. We did spend about 20mins of quality time together and I was the last person to get off so it put a little bounce in my step to be recognized.
I smiled the rest of the walk home.
It's amazing the positive impact such a small gesture of humanity can cause. It's not all bad, you guys.
